Marketplaces
Every Amazon marketplace has its own rules.
Language, fees, VAT, competition and advertising costs differ per country. Here is how we approach each one.
A listing that wins on Amazon.com can lose on Amazon.de with the same product, because German shoppers read differently and German competitors advertise differently. We run each marketplace as its own account with its own keywords, bids and copy, under one strategy.
Our Berlin team covers Amazon.de, .co.uk, .fr, .it, .es and .nl natively. Our Regina team covers Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. Expansion in either direction is coordinated between the two.
- amazon.de · EUR
Selling on Amazon.de, Germany
Amazon.de is the largest marketplace in Europe and the second-largest Amazon marketplace worldwide. Our Berlin team runs advertising, listings and account operations for the German market natively.
- amazon.com · USD
Selling and advertising on Amazon.com
Amazon.com is the largest and most competitive marketplace. Winning there is a question of margin discipline: True ACoS per ASIN, listings that convert above category average and budgets that follow profit.
- amazon.co.uk · GBP
Selling and advertising on Amazon.co.uk
Amazon.co.uk is Europe's second-largest marketplace and, since Brexit, a separate logistics and VAT world from the EU. We run UK advertising to profit and open the EU from Berlin.
- amazon.ca · CAD
Selling and advertising on Amazon.ca
Amazon.ca is smaller than Amazon.com but less competitive, with lower CPCs and loyal Prime shoppers. Our Canadian team runs it as its own marketplace, not as a copy of the US account.
- amazon.fr · EUR
Selling and advertising on Amazon.fr
France is the third-largest Amazon marketplace in Europe and one of the easiest to add once Amazon.de runs: same EU structure, different language, less competition.
- amazon.it · EUR
Selling and advertising on Amazon.it
Italy is a fast-growing Amazon marketplace with low advertising costs and shoppers who strongly prefer Italian copy. It pairs naturally with Spain as the second expansion wave after Germany and France.
- amazon.es · EUR
Selling and advertising on Amazon.es
Spain is a price-sensitive, mobile-first marketplace with low advertising costs. With native Spanish listings and Pan-EU logistics it adds profitable volume to an existing EU account.
- amazon.nl · EUR
Selling and advertising on Amazon.nl
Amazon.nl is young, small and underserved. Brands that add Dutch listings early win rank cheaply before competition arrives, and Belgium follows through Amazon.com.be.
